The purpose of this project was to apply serial planes concepts
and the principles and elements of design to the creation of a
white foam board - 3D form using additive and subtractive methods. I choose my form to be free standing geometric 3D form. I used reputation and cutting out for all pieces . I tried as much as I could to avoid gluing and I did cut out holes to hold the pieces together . The different scale of the edges and the positive and negative spaces helped in creating shadows. Cutting the foam was the most difficult part in this project othor than that I enjoyed working with the whit foam and I found that this project is more interesting than the book project because I was free to create different shapes and there were no red line for the height and width .
